Beam Space

Beam space is an anchor space within Santa Fe's House of Eternal Return. It is the liminal space that the father in the narrative enters looking for his lost son.  The centerpiece is a 20' tall three armed laser harp reflecting the imaginary realization of a prototype built by the father which he uses to communicate with the son.

Ambient spatial sounds swirl with snippets of conversation as animated light beam projections shift the dimensions of the space.  The laser harp is primarily focused on musical interaction, but can shift to a mode where each string plays a word of dialogue, allowing visitors to construct the conversation between characters.
